Rather than a headpiece, I would maybe have a more secretive mic that's harder to see; I think the microphone was probably meant to be more of a prop than an actual microphone, which is a fun idea, but if there's no extra mic to account for the parts where the prop mic is away from her face, it's gonna make that awkward sound which does pull away from the performance.

The "one shot" was Marina's idea, actually.

On my top 10 for esc 2024, but somehow one of my most forgettable esc performances omg wth

They thought of this silly one-shot cam trick and they got trapped in it, resulting in the performance being too simple and awkward in parts. The one shot cam trick suited France way more, as it was slow and esoteric. Zari deserved a staging that would bring the stage downnmm, but anyway, she still slayed overall, one of the best greek entries ever hands down. Queen!

Im not too knowledged about USAmerican drag culture and am sure that it differs from Dutch culture, but i am curious, cause i know a lot of drag performance/art is not just 'woo glitter' like many outsiders think it is

Their performance told their story I've finally finding their true selves as much as the lyrics did. So it's all dark and drab and really nothing significant at the beginning on purpose. Then they have a mountain to climb then suddenly the ground beneath them is unsteady and they're not sure how to react to it and then finally they understand their true selves and that they're neither male nor female but they found a way to be happy and balanced in the center/ non-binary.

I saw a lot of people that called the previous jacket a flamingo jacket. I love it also but yeah it was a little much for the performance so they made a great change.
